Specialty Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist New York, NY (Temp to Perm)

RPh on the Go, has an immediate opening for a contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join a high-volume specialty pharmacy in New York City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing workflow, and committed to high standards of accuracy and patient care.

The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with every 7th Saturday rotation. Pharmacy hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify prescriptions with precision, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols

• Oversee daily operations and supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff

• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and internal policies

• Work in sync with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure efficiency across all pharmacy functions

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear New York Pharmacist license

• At least one year of experience in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting

• Must have experience working in a pharmacy filling 800+ prescriptions per day

• Ability to remain on your feet and work in a standing position for extended periods
