An established specialty pharmacy in New York City is seeking an experienced and highly organized Staff Pharmacist for a temp-to-perm opportunity. Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
Every 7th Saturday, 9:00am 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support all pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while ensuring full compliance with legal and professional standards

• Fill and verify prescriptions following instructions from prescribers

• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacist-In-Charge on all operational and clinical duties

• Maintain efficient workflow in a high-volume setting exceeding 800 prescriptions per day

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist license

• At least one year of experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy

• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume environment

• Must be comfortable standing in place for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
