RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Plantation, FL. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong HIV/AIDS medication experience who is looking to step into a leadership role, with the potential to advance to Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) following the initial contract period.

Position Details:

  • Location: Plantation (Fort Lauderdale area), FL

  • Setting: High-volume retail/specialty pharmacy

  • Schedule: Monday Thursday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM 12:30 PM

  • Type: 13-week contract-to-hire, full-time

  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications with a focus on HIV/AIDS treatments.

  • Provide patient-centered care in a respectful, empathetic, and judgment-free manner.

  • Communicate effectively with providers and staff across multiple locations.

  • Collaborate with an experienced team of pharmacy technicians in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Show initiative by identifying workflow needs and proactively supporting operations.

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacist License in Florida (required).

  • 1 2 years of recent experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications (must be clearly noted on resume).

  • Experience with QS1 or similar pharmacy software systems.

  • Strong background in high-volume pharmacy settings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A compassionate and respectful approach to serving a sensitive patient population.

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred; those with management ambition are highly encouraged to apply.
