Staff Pharmacist - 12 week contract (3pm-12am) Temp to hire in NM

We're seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a 12-week contract. This is for a long-term care, mail order pharmacy.

Shift: (3PM-12AM); with rotating weekends

Job duties:

• Accurately filling and verifying prescriptions, including checking for proper dosages, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Providing medication counseling to patients and their caregivers, explaining proper administration, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
• Adhering to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices, including those related to prescription processing, medication storage, and record keeping.
• Handling customer inquiries, resolving medication-related issues, and providing excellent service to patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• Active & clear NM Pharmacist license
• Retail or long term care experience
