Staff Pharmacist (13-Week Contract-to-Hire) - Syracuse, New York

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a long-term care facility team in Syracuse, NY, on a 13-week contract-to-hire basis.

Position Overview:
As a Staff Pharmacist in this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to long-term care residents. This position offers a chance to work in a supportive environment, with the potential for a permanent placement after the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical consultations and medication therapy management.
• Prepare and dispense medications while maintaining detailed and accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor drug therapies for effectiveness and safety.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance efforts.

Pharmacy Operating Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 9:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• LTC Experience a plus
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience
• NY Pharmacist license
