Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Role in Southgate, KY

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity in Southgate, Kentucky. This is an excellent chance to step into a fast-paced and impactful pharmacy environment that values patient care and professional excellence.

Position Overview:

• Dispense and verify prescription orders accurately

• Counsel patients on medications and overall health needs

• Maintain confidentiality, compliance records, and manage controlled substances

• Collaborate with physicians and reference materials to resolve prescription issues

Schedule:

• First shift, Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift per month

• Hours include 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Typical closing shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM) scheduled once weekly

• Weekend hours: Saturday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Work Environment: This position supports two departments one focused on desk-based data entry and verification, and the other involving product verification that may require standing (sitting is permitted whenever possible).

Requirements:

• Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacist license

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience in retail or mail order settings

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
