Staff Pharmacist 13-weeks Temp to Perm Fairfield, OH (1st Shift)

Staff Pharmacist is actively hiring for a 13-weeks Temp to Perm role in Fairfield, OH. This is a full-time, onsite position on the 1st shift. The pharmacist will oversee pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, ensure proper workflow and security, and screen medication orders.

Position Details:
Location: Fairfield, OH
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, and pharmacy security
Oversee ordering and prepacking by pharmacy technicians
Screen new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications
Assist in ordering, handling, documentation, and storage of controlled substances
Maintain perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs

Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in Ohio
Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
