Staff Pharmacist 1st Shift | 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Ohio

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity in Fairfield, Ohio. This full-time, first-shift role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong leadership and clinical skills, looking to join a supportive and high-performing team.

Position Details:

• Location: Fairfield, OH

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (1st Shift)

• Duration: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire

• Status: Contract signed actively interviewing

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper workflow, data entry accuracy, and timely medication delivery

• Oversee pharmacy security and daily operational processes

• Review and screen new medication orders for proper dosing, interactions, allergies, and contraindications

• Monitor and assist with ordering, receiving, and prepacking medications

• Maintain compliance in the handling and documentation of all controlled substances

• Help manage perpetual inventory for Schedule II medications

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio

• Previous experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to lead a team effectively

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
