Staff Pharmacist (2 month contract) Day shift in Warren, MI

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Warren, MI for a 2-month contract in a surgical hospital. This is for day shift (Monday-Friday), and every other Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Managing medications administered before surgery, ensuring proper timing and dosage.
• Overseeing the entire inpatient medication process, including reviewing physician orders, dispensing medications, and monitoring for adverse drug reactions.
• Preparing sterile medications, including intravenous solutions and other injectable medications, according to established protocols.
• Participating in emergency situations, such as codes, and providing necessary medications and support.

Requirements:

• Inpatient experience
• Clinical hospital experience
• Experience with sterile compounding
• MI pharmacy license (clear & active)
