Position Type: Ongoing Assignment

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Shifts:
Seeking a flexible candidate to work 8-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with occasional Saturday rotation.

Role Overview:
As a Staff Pharmacist in this role, you will be an integral part of the pharmacy team, ensuring safe and efficient medication dispensing and patient care. Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing medications to patients
• Handling medication prepacks in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
• Offering medication therapy management and counseling to patients
• Administering vaccinations to eligible patients
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care
• Managing pharmaceutical inventory
• Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Qualifications:

• Experience in both LTC and retail settings preferred
• At least 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
• Completion of an immunization training program required
• Active and clear CT Pharmacist License
