Staff Pharmacist 2nd Shift (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

RPh on the Go is looking for an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 12-week assignment at a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Louisville, KY. This position offers the possibility of direct hire after the contract period. The role includes working the 2nd shift on weekdays (12:30 PM to 11:00 PM) and a weekend shift on Saturdays (with flexibility for 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts). This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking to gain experience in the LTC setting, or for those with prior LTC experience looking to further their career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and manage medication therapy for LTC residents.
• Review physician orders and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
• Monitor patient profiles for potential drug interactions, allergies, and dosage appropriateness.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide medication counseling and recommendations.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and medication storage, ensuring the safe handling of controlled substances.
• Utilize DocuTrack and Frameworks systems for medication management (experience with these systems is a plus).

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 12:30 PM 11:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM 9:00 PM (12-hour shift preferred, but flexible options available for 6, 8, or 10-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience required; LTC experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with DocuTrack and Frameworks systems is a plus.
• Kentucky Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
