Staff Pharmacist (30hr/week) - New Haven CT

RPh on the Go has partnered with a closed-door facility to hire a Staff Pharmacist for an ongoing 30+ hour per week contract in New Haven, CT. This position offers a consistent schedule in a long-term care setting, providing an excellent opportunity to utilize your pharmacy expertise in a collaborative environment.

Position Details:

• Term of Assignment: 3-4 days per week, ongoing
• Pharmacy Hours: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 7:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Shift: 8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with flexibility to rotate weekends

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently dispense medications
• Verify medication prepacks in a long-term care setting
• Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Administer vaccinations as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Oversee pharmaceutical inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements:

• Long-term care and retail experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
• Active and clear Connecticut Pharmacist License
