About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This position is a 3rd shift role, working 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. This opportunity is initially offered as a temporary assignment for 12 weeks, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a long-term care mail order environment.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide medication counseling and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and other pharmacy-related activities.

Requirements:

• Valid New Mexico Pharmacy License.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a long-term care or mail order setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
