Staff Pharmacist - 4 Shifts per Week (9:00am-7:30pm)

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacist to join an LTC (Long-Term Care) mail order pharmacy in Roanoke, VA. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable 19-week contract offering a great work environment.

Position Overview:

• Type: Staff Pharmacist
• Assignment Length: 19 weeks
• Shift: 4 shifts per week (9:00am 7:30pm)
• Environment: LTC Mail Order Pharmacy

Job Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for long-term care patients
• Perform clinical checks, including drug therapy review, medication history, and patient counseling
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide oversight to pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain medication inventory and manage stock levels

Requirements:

• Active and clear Virginia Pharmacy License
• Pharmacy experience required
• LTC (Long-Term Care) experience a plus
