Evening Shift Pharmacist 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Shift Hours: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Duration: 13-Week Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview:
We re looking for a qualified pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week temporary-to-permanent position. As part of our pharmacy team, you ll manage evening operations, ensure efficient workflow, and oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, ensuring smooth operations, accurate data entry, and adherence to security measures.
• Oversee medication ordering and prepacking, ensuring proper procedures are followed to maintain efficient operations.
• Review medication orders for correct dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing medications.
• Support the management and storage of controlled substances, assisting in inventory tracking and maintaining records for Schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

• Active and clear Pharmacist License in Ohio
• Prior experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is an advantage
