Job Title: Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy

Location: New York City, NY 10018 (Manhattan, off 8th Ave between W39th and W40th Street, near Times Square)

Assignment Dates: August 30 - September 30, with potential for ongoing needs

Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Position Type: Per Diem

Overview:

A busy specialty pharmacy in Manhattan is seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team for a temporary assignment. This role involves working in a smaller, closed-door pharmacy environment with one full-time RPh and one technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a specialty pharmacy setting.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technician(s) in their duties.
• Ensure compliance with NY State regulations and pharmacy best practices.
• Utilize strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY State Pharmacist license (must have no negative history).
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in retail pharmacy supervision.
• Experience with PioneerRX is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
