Setting: Closed-door specialty pharmacy focused on oral oncology

This specialty pharmacy in Bonita Springs (just south of Fort Myers on Florida s Gulf Coast) is searching for an experienced pharmacist ready to step into a fulfilling role. The team is flexible on employment type open to contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire and looking to move quickly with qualified candidates.

Position Summary:
You'll play a key role in verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions (primarily oral oncology meds), overseeing technicians, and working directly with providers to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prescription verification and final checks

• Medication preparation and dispensing

• Technician oversight and support

• Direct communication with healthcare providers

• Ensuring compliance and patient safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license (required)

• Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience

• Immediate availability preferred

• Background in specialty or oncology pharmacy is a plus
