Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract Position

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week contract position. You will play an essential role in performing Pharmacist Verification tasks, ensuring the accuracy of medications, and confirming all prescription details against the hard copy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) to ensure all medications are accurately verified
• Cross-check prescribed medication with the bottle/box to ensure accuracy
• Confirm that prescription information, including directions, matches the original hard copy

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Previous experience in specialty pharmacy preferred, but not required
