Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract Opportunity

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract role. This position focuses on performing critical Pharmacist Verification functions, including the final verification process, confirming medication accuracy, and ensuring prescription details match the hard copy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2)
• Ensure medications are correctly matched to their prescribed directions and details
• Verify that the correct medication is in the bottle/box, comparing with the original prescription
• Double-check the final medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines

What We re Looking For:

• Clear and active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Previous experience in specialty pharmacy is a plus
