Job Description:

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time position offers a stable day shift schedule, ideal for those seeking a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the healthcare community. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications, providing patient counseling, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense prescriptions to patients.
• Provide expert advice and counseling to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Stay informed about new medications, therapies, and pharmaceutical practices.
• Ensure the pharmacy is well-organized, stocked, and clean.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• NE State Pharmacist license
• 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Non-Sterile Compounding experience is a plus but not required (training available)
