Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking a Staff Pharmacist to cover part-time shifts in a Long-Term Care (LTC) Mailorder environment. This position is available through April 2025, with shifts scheduled on specific dates. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for scanning and verifying medication orders for delivery to LTC clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and verify medication orders for delivery to LTC clients.
• Ensure all medication orders are accurately processed and meet regulatory standards.
• Work with a simple pharmacy system, SweetRx, to process orders.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and LTC clients to resolve any order discrepancies or issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience.
• Licensing: Active, current New York State Pharmacist License.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with SweetRx is a plus, but not required (system is simple to learn).

• Dates of Assignment:
  • December: 19, 26
  • January: 16, 23, 30
  • February: 20, 27
  • March: 10-14, 20, 27
  • April: 14-18, 21, 24
• Shift: Days from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
