Staff Pharmacist - Direct Hire - Retail - Alexandria Bay, NY

As a Staff Pharmacist in our retail pharmacy in Alexandria Bay, NY, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of the Pharmacy department. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional who can plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
Shift:

• Monday Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Work every 3rd weekend

Duties include:

• Perform all quality assurance steps to ensure the technically accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Oversee the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
• Manage and balance the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turnover.
• Provide outstanding customer service to our valued clients.
• Manage pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Maintain strong customer service standards.
• Ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Manage stock and perform Medication Therapy Management (MT) and Immunization Management Medication Review (IMMR).

Requirements:

• Retail pharmacy experience.
• Clear and active New York (NY) pharmacy license.
