Staff Pharmacist, evening shift (3PM-12AM) 12 week, temporary to direct hire

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 12 week contract, for a long-term care mail order Pharmacy. This opportunity is temporary to direct hire, for the right fit.

Shift: M-F (3PM-12AM), rotating weekends

Job duties:

• Reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness, ensuring they align with patient needs and regulations
• Providing clear and concise instructions to patients and caregivers on how to properly administer medications, including dosage, potential side effects, and storage information.
• Adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Guiding and supervising pharmacy technicians and other support staff.

Requirements:

• Retail or long-term care experience
• New Mexico Pharmacy license
