Staff Pharmacist Fairfield, OH

A growing pharmacy operation in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity. This is a full-time role on first shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday), ideal for pharmacists with experience in high-volume or compounding settings looking for a long-term fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accurate workflow and timely delivery

• Review and verify all new medication orders for appropriate dosing, interactions, and allergies

• Oversee technician activities including ordering and prepacking

• Ensure proper handling, documentation, and inventory of controlled substances, including maintenance of perpetual inventory for Schedule II medications

• Maintain pharmacy area security and compliance with all regulations

Requirements:

• Clear and active Ohio Pharmacist License

• Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail, leadership, and organizational skills
