Staff Pharmacist Fairfield, Ohio

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join a fast-paced pharmacy environment in Fairfield, Ohio. This 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who thrive under pressure and are passionate about providing excellent pharmaceutical care.

Position Overview:

• Full-time, 1st shift schedule

• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• High-volume environment with strong team support

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure workflow efficiency, security, and timely deliveries.

• Review all new medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing.

• Oversee ordering, prepacking, and inventory management of pharmacy stock, including controlled substances.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications Required:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license.

• Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience required.

• Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy settings required.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills essential for success in this role.
