Shift: Monday - Friday with Rotating Weekends (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Assignment Length: 13+ Weeks with potential for permanent placement

We re looking for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to become an integral part of our Long-Term Care Pharmacy team in Plainview, NY. This temp-to-perm role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of long-term care patients and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. After 13+ weeks, there s the potential for permanent employment making this a fantastic long-term career opportunity.

What You ll Do:

• Product Verification: Ensure each prescription is accurate, reviewing for dosage, interactions, and patient safety.
• Cycle Fill Management: Process around 100 prescriptions daily, filling medications at scheduled intervals for long-term care patients.
• Software Tools: Experience with QS1 PrimeRx and Doctrack is preferred to streamline workflow.

Who We re Looking For:

• Pharmacy Experience: Must have recent experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy practice.
• Long-Term Care Background: Prior experience in a long-term care setting is essential.
• Licensing: Must hold a valid NY State Pharmacist License in good standing.
