Staff Pharmacist Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Location: Bristol, PA
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (with rotating weekends)
Contract Length: 13+ weeks, with potential for permanent hire

We are currently looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join a reputable Long-Term Care pharmacy in Bristol, PA. This is a temp-to-perm position that will allow you to apply your expertise in pharmacy practice while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Overview:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, as well as providing critical pharmacy support for long-term care patients. You ll work with a dynamic team to ensure that medication needs are met efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Verification: Verify prescriptions for accuracy to ensure patient safety.
  • Cycle Fills: Prepare and fill prescriptions on a regular schedule for long-term care patients (approximately 100 prescriptions daily).
  • System Utilization: Work with QS1 PrimeRx and Doctrack software; experience with these systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent Pharmacy Experience: Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
  • Long-Term Care Experience: Required to be considered for the role.
  • Active PA Pharmacist License: Must be in good standing with the state of Pennsylvania.
