Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, the pharmacist will be responsible for performing final medication order reviews and ensuring all prescriptions meet regulatory standards during mid-shift hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a temporary assignment with a steady schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy.
• Ensure proper dispensing of medications and compliance with safety protocols.
• Review patient profiles and confirm appropriate drug therapy.
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Offer medication counseling to patients, providing education as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Pharmacist License in Pennsylvania.
• Recent professional experience in pharmacy practice, particularly in final order review and dispensing.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.

Compensation:
Hourly pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
