Staff Pharmacist Temp-to-Perm Position in Bristol, PA

Location: Bristol, PA
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM 9:00 PM (with rotating weekends)
Contract Duration: 13+ Weeks, with the possibility of permanent hire

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established Long-Term Care pharmacy in Bristol, PA. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity to showcase your pharmacy skills in a collaborative environment, with the potential for long-term career growth.

Role Overview:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you ll be responsible for accurately dispensing medications and providing essential pharmacy support to long-term care patients. You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care in a timely and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prescription Verification: Ensure prescriptions are accurately filled and meet all safety protocols.
• Cycle Filling: Regularly prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care patients (approximately 100 prescriptions daily).
• Software Systems: Utilize QS1 PrimeRx and Doctrack systems for prescription management (prior experience with these systems is helpful but not required).

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy is preferred.
• Long-Term Care Experience: At least some experience in long-term care is required for consideration.
• Licensing: Must have an active and good-standing PA Pharmacist License.
