Staff Pharmacist: Full Time- New Grads Encouraged to Apply (Winamac, IN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and effective management of medications for our inpatient population, with additional responsibilities in our outpatient pharmacy on a weekly basis.
Schedule: Monday- Friday (7:00 am - 5:00 pm) Rotating Weekends
Will have on call responsibilities*
Job Duties:

• Perform order entry for medication orders with a primary focus on dosing antibiotics.
• Manage pharmacy operations and medication distribution within the inpatient hospital setting.
• Cover outpatient pharmacy responsibilities one day per week.
• Utilize CPSI order entry systems (training provided).
• Operate OmniCell automation systems (training provided).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Indiana pharmacist license in good standing.
• Familiarity with CPSI order entry systems and OmniCell automation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
