Job Description: Long-Term Care Staff Pharmacist

Position: Staff Pharmacist (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Montana

Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (with potential for permanent hire)

Shift:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM - 4 PM
• No Sunday shifts

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications for long-term care facilities.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and provide patient consultation as necessary.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
• Maintain records of drug therapies and inventory management.
• Provide excellent customer service to both facilities and patients.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Montana Pharmacist License.
• Prior experience as a pharmacist (required).
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
