Staff Pharmacist- Hospital/Inpatient: 13+ Week Contract (Coquille, OR)

Staff Pharmacist
Location: Coquille, Oregon
Term of Assignment: 13+ weeks
Shifts: 1st
Hours: 8:00am 4:00pm
Software: Cerner and Pyxis
Job Duties:

• Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Prepare and/or check medications prior to distribution to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services.
• Counsel patients being discharged from the hospital on medication management.
• Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure that drugs are maintained according to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Clear and active license in the state of Oregon.
• 2 years experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Acute care hospital setting experience preferred.
