Staff Pharmacist - Jefferson City, MO
Duration: 13 weeks (Temp to Direct Hire)
Work Environment: Retail
Shift: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays
Computer System: Liberty
Script Volume: 1200 to 1500 prescriptions per week
RPh on the Go is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a temporary-to-direct hire position in our independent retail pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacist will play a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical services and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our customers. This position offers an opportunity to join our team for a 13-week temporary period with the potential for a permanent role based on performance and mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing Medications: Accurately and safely dispense prescription medications to patients in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Consultation: Offer medication counseling and address any questions or concerns patients may have regarding their prescriptions.

Medication Management: Maintain inventory, monitor prescription volumes, and order necessary pharmaceutical supplies to ensure efficient operations.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with prescription-related inquiries and issues.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, patient information, and inventory levels.

Adherence to Protocols: Adhere to established pharmacy protocols and procedures, including those related to prescription verification, label printing, and prescription accuracy.

Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications:

1+ years of Retail pharmacy experience

Clear and Active Missouri (MO) Pharmacist License.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Liberty computer system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

A high level of attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescription medications and related tasks.

Efficient time management skills to handle a high script volume.
