Staff Pharmacist Kentucky

Location: Kentucky (LTC Facility)
Position: Contract-to-Hire (12-week contract with potential for direct hire)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2nd shift (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (12-hour shift preferred; 6, 8, or 10-hour shifts also available)

We are currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy in Kentucky. This is a 12-week contract position with the potential for direct hire based on performance. Job Duties:

• Dispense medications for Long-Term Care (LTC) residents in compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Review physician orders and verify prescriptions for accuracy
• Provide patient counseling and ensure appropriate medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize pharmacy systems (DocuTrack/Frameworks) to manage medication orders

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Experience (required)
• LTC Experience (preferred but not required)
• DocuTrack/Frameworks experience (a plus)
• Valid Kentucky Pharmacy License (required)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday: 2nd shift (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (12-hour shift preferred; flexible 6, 8, or 10-hour shifts available)
