This role has the potential to extend beyond the initial contract term based on facility needs. Local candidates are strongly preferred, but travel candidates will be considered if necessary.

Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Position Summary:
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for cycle checking, prescription verification, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a high-volume LTC pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
Perform cycle checks for medication accuracy and inventory
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain workflow efficiency
Provide professional oversight and support to pharmacy technicians
Maintain HIPAA compliance and quality assurance standards
Perform additional duties as needed based on operational needs

Qualifications:
Active Missouri Pharmacist License required
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
Previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
