Staff Pharmacist Mail Order Southgate, KY

Position: Staff Pharmacist Southgate, KY

Contract Length: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating weekend shifts (1 weekend per month)
Shift Times:

• 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  (Pharmacists typically work the closing shift of 11:00 AM 7:00 PM once a week)
  Weekend Shift Times:

• Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

• Sunday: 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions and provide patient counseling on medications and healthcare needs

• Ensure the proper documentation and handling of controlled substances

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues

• Maintain patient confidentiality while delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Kentucky

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, with preference for retail or mail order experience
