Staff Pharmacist - Mid Shift (11am-7pm) - Plainview, NY

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join a dynamic Long-Term Care pharmacy team in Plainview, NY. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering the chance to transition into a permanent position after 13+ weeks. You ll be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate medication management for long-term care patients in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Product Verification: Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Cycle Fills: Fill medications for patients at regular intervals (approximately 100 prescriptions per day).
• Software Utilized: Experience with QS1 PrimeRx and Doctrack is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Experience: Recent experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy is required.
• Long-Term Care Experience: Must have experience in a long-term care setting.
• NY State Pharmacist License: Active and in good standing with the New York State Board of Pharmacy.
