Staff Pharmacist - Mid Shift - Spokane, Washington

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team for a position at a reputable Long Term Care (LTC) facility in Spokane, Washington.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Staff Pharmacist to work the mid shift at our client's LTC facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations within a long-term care setting and possess excellent clinical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide drug information and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients as needed.
• Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities within the pharmacy department.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all pharmaceutical activities.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 11:00am - 7:30pm
• Possible rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience.
• LTC experience a plus.
• WA Pharmacy license.
