Position Details

• Schedule: As needed, with the busiest days being Thursday-Sunday
• Duration: 13+ weeks, ongoing
• Pharmacy Hours:
• Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:30 AM 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional patient care, offering counseling on medications and proper usage.
• Handle inbound calls, process insurance claims, and assist with prior authorizations.
• Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Support the pharmacy manager with any additional tasks needed to ensure quality service.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing.
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience (independent pharmacy experience preferred).
• Flexible availability to work as needed.
