RPh on the Go is currently hiring a Staff Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract in Peridot, AZ. This role is available to both travel and local candidates. The position offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, including nights, days, swing shifts, and weekends.

Position Details:

  • Location: Peridot, AZ

  • Duration: 13+ weeks

  • Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (variable shift times, including nights, days, swing, and weekends)

  • Setting: Pharmacy Clinic / Inpatient Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure the highest quality of service delivery, meeting professional and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and implement operational and financial outcome measures, tracking systems, and integrate them into organizational quality improvement processes.

  • Direct, evaluate, and update departmental policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the pharmacy's computer-based information and dispensing systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

  • Manage inventory and purchasing processes to ensure timely pharmaceutical availability and cost-effective operations.

  • Promote professional growth among staff through continuous feedback and appropriate educational opportunities.

  • Prepare regular operational reports and recommend improvements based on findings.

  • Participate in department orientations, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of professional experience, including at least two years in a management role.

  • Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred, including one-year residency).

  • Current and valid state Pharmacy license.

  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

  • Inpatient/ER experience required.

  • ACLS and PALS certifications required (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month of hire).

  • Must successfully pass background and drug screenings.
