Staff Pharmacist Part-Time Retail / LTC

Pharmacist Opportunity: Retail / LTC 30+ Hours per Week

Assignment Duration: Ongoing 3-4 Days per Week

Pharmacy Hours: Monday Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM

Shift Details: We're looking for a dedicated pharmacist to work 8-hour shifts, available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with potential weekend rotation flexibility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications to patients
• Manage medications in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting, including verifying medication prepacks
• Provide thorough medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Administer vaccinations to eligible patients
• Partner with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Oversee the pharmacy's inventory and ensure proper stock levels
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in both LTC and retail pharmacy settings is preferred
• At least 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
• Completion of an immunization certification program is required
• Active and clear CT Pharmacist License
