Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a part-time, temporary role in a Long-Term Care (LTC) Mailorder pharmacy setting. This position is available through April 2025, with specific shift dates listed below. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery to LTC clients, working within a user-friendly system (SweetRx).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review, scan, and verify medication orders for LTC clients, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with pharmacy standards.
• Ensure accuracy in medication dispensing and order fulfillment, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Operate SweetRx, a straightforward pharmacy management system, to process medication orders (training available).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and LTC staff to resolve order-related discrepancies or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of pharmacist experience.
• Licensing: Must hold an active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Software Familiarity: Experience with SweetRx is a plus, but not required. The system is easy to learn and use.

• December: 19, 26
• January: 16, 23, 30
• February: 20, 27
• March: 10-14, 20, 27
• April: 14-18, 21, 24
• Shifts: Daytime hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for specific dates.
