Staff Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Non-Sterile Compounding MI

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist or PIC to join a closed-door non-sterile compounding pharmacy in Grosse Ile, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with strong regulatory knowledge and leadership skills to step into a high-impact role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory compliance with USP 795, DEA, and Board of Pharmacy standards

• Oversee all non-sterile compounding operations, technician workflow, and formulations

• Act as the primary contact for audits and inspections

• Enforce SOPs and maintain thorough documentation (compounding logs, QA data, formulation records)

• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and staff

• Monitor inventory and ensure safe ingredient storage and use

• Maintain facility cleanliness and proper maintenance documentation

• Support quality improvement efforts and resolve incidents as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing

• Eligible and willing to serve as PIC per Michigan state requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a non-sterile compounding pharmacy

• Strong background in regulatory compliance and inspection preparedness

• Excellent documentation, organization, and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Previous PIC experience in a compounding environment

• Non-sterile compounding certificate or ACPE-accredited training

• Experience with compounding/pharmacy software systems
