Full-Time Staff Pharmacist Opportunity Temp-to-Perm | Mid Shifts | Long-Term Care Setting

Location: Plainview, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13+ Weeks
Shifts: Monday - Friday with rotating weekends, either 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity that allows you to showcase your expertise in product verification and cycle fills, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 13+ weeks. Key Responsibilities:

• Product Verification: Ensure the accuracy of prescriptions, confirming proper dispensing and dosage.
• Cycle Fills: Process and fill prescriptions for patients on a regular schedule (approx. 100 items per day).

Systems Used:

• QS1 Prime Rx
• Doctrack

Qualifications:

• Required: Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience: Recent experience as a pharmacist, specifically in Retail and/or Long-Term Care settings
• Bonus: Familiarity with QS1 Prime Rx and Doctrack systems is advantageous but not mandatory
