Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team on a 4-week contract. The successful candidate will work rotating first and second shifts, playing a critical role in the medication management and overall healthcare of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of residents' medication regimens to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy.
  • Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in the facility s quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
  • Support the training and development of pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 1st and 2nd shift rotating

Qualifications:

  • LTC Pharmacy experience a plus
  • FL Pharmacist license.
  • Willing to work a 4-week contract.
