Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Mail Order - New York, NY

Position: Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy (Full-Time, Temp to Perm)
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (Flexible Option: Work Saturdays and Take Thursdays Off)
Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

What You'll Do: As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll be a key player in our Specialty Pharmacy team, working under the guidance of the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC). Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership: Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff, ensuring a smooth and compliant operation.
• Medication Management: Oversee all activities related to dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescriptions.
• Patient Care: Fill prescriptions, meticulously verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to standardized professional policies and procedures.

What We re Looking For:

• Licensing: Must hold a current, active NY State Pharmacist license with a clean history.
• Experience: Prior experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is required. Experience with high-volume environments (800+ prescriptions/day) is a must.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, with manual dexterity required for sustained activities.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, up to $60/hour.
