Staff Pharmacist - Specialty | New York City (10024)

We are hiring an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a Temp-To-Hire opportunity at a growing specialty pharmacy in New York City. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice. Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (Every 7th Saturday 9:00 PM-2:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with all professional policies and procedures
• Oversee all activities related to dispensing medications
• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions according to prescriber instructions

Requirements

• Active and clear New York State Pharmacist license (no negative history)
• Previous experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy required
• High-volume experience required
• Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $55-$60/HR - Paid Weekly via Direct Deposit
