RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Specialty Staff Pharmacist for an urgent full-time opportunity in New York City. This position involves working Monday through Saturday, with Thursdays off. The shift hours are 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays. This role has the potential to become a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage high-volume prescription processing
• Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations
• Provide professional guidance to patients on medication usage
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal care

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization certification required (ability to administer vaccines)
• At least 2 years of high-volume retail or specialty pharmacy experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of insurance billing and prior authorizations

Compensation:

• Up to $59 per hour, depending on experience
