RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a day shift opportunity at a Specialty Pharmacy in New York, NY. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a high-volume specialty pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense specialty medications, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining treatment plans and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
• Assist with medication therapy management and patient support services.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of specialty medications.
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication dispensing.

Qualifications:

• Active NY State Pharmacist license (required).
• Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy (required).
• High-volume experience (800+ prescriptions per day is a must).
• Ability to stand for extended periods in one spot.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Every 7th Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $60/hour
• Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 120 hours accrued annually (15 days total)
  • 5 days available immediately each year
  • 10 days accrued over the year
  • 40 hours carryover allowance
• Paid Holidays: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
