Staff Pharmacist Specialty Pharmacy in Manhattan, NY

RPh on the Go is seeking a New York-licensed Staff Pharmacist to join a high-volume Specialty Pharmacy in Manhattan, NY. This is a full-time position with regular weekday hours and rotating Saturdays.

Position Overview:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays (9:00 AM 2:00 PM)
• Environment: Specialty Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with professional policies and procedures
• Dispense medications and verify prescriptions from prescribing practitioners
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment

Requirements:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License (current, with no negative history)
• Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy required
• Proven ability to manage high-volume dispensing (800+ prescriptions per day)
• Must be able to stand for long periods and maintain focus in a fast-paced setting

Working Conditions:

• Requires constant standing or walking
• Manual dexterity is essential for sustained periods
